Guided Tours
Trained interpreters run scheduled departures and, on request, private groups—plan on roughly ninety minutes of highlight stops.

- Private Tour
- A guided tour arranged exclusively for your group, with a customised itinerary. Minimum group size of 6 applies.
- Thematic Tour
- A specialist tour focusing on a specific aspect of the collection, such as Gaelic manuscripts, traditional music, or oral history.
Workshops & Events
Seasonal workshops deliver tactile introductions to Gaelic craft and story. Every session is capped, so reserve early and watch the museum calendar for new titles.

- Traditional Irish music introduction (1.5 hours; instruments provided)
- Oral history recording session (2 hours; suitable for ages 14+)
- Gaelic storytelling for families (1 hour; ages 5–10)

Group Bookings
Ten or more guests unlock discounted entry and can request staggered door times. Book a fortnight ahead and name one onsite leader for the party.

Education Programmes
Schools and universities access syllabus-aligned visits in English or Irish, mapped to both Irish and UK frameworks. Lead teachers enter free with their class.

Accessibility Services

- Full wheelchair access throughout the building, including all three floors via lift
